Friends of the Earth Camden
At Camden Friends of the Earth Friends we help fight for climate justice through grassroots campaigns.
One of our main purposes is to get local MPs behind important legislation that will actually make a difference.
In doing so we form part of a large network of local groups that support Friends of the Earth with their national and international campaigns.
We also aim to inform and offer practical solutions to individuals in an ever more confusing world.
Our goal is to build a community of people who know that there’s a better way forward and who can bring about change from the ground up.
Why We Care
Quite simply because there is no Planet B.
Our Earth is precious and beautiful, and we’ve already destroyed so much of it
Don’t let anyone tell you that we’re set on a course that we can’t stop, because we believe that change is possible.
We also believe that climate justice, social justice and improving people’s lives go hand in hand.
Don’t let anyone tell you that there’s a choice to be made between your financial security and protecting the environment.
The opposite is the case - halting global heating and environmental destruction is the only thing that will secure our future. (And make it worth living!)
The very same changes that will protect the environment will also put more money in our pockets.
If you don’t believe this, then hear us out, we have a strong argument to make.
